This Brazil Alta Mogiana Natural is a forgiving and versatile coffee that performs well across a wide range of roast levels.
Light Roast:
Highlights soft fruit sweetness, mild acidity, and a lighter body. Expect subtle dried fruit notes layered over milk chocolate.
Medium Roast (Recommended):
Best balance of sweetness, body, and clarity. Chocolate-forward, nutty, smooth, and well-rounded. Excellent for both filter and espresso.
Medium-Dark Roast:
Emphasizes deeper chocolate, roasted nuts, and heavier body with very low acidity. Ideal for traditional espresso and milk-based drinks.
Larger Screen 17 beans promote even heat transfer, making this coffee easier to roast consistently, especially for home roasting setups.
INFORMATIONBrazil is the world’s largest coffee producer, supplying nearly one-third of global coffee production. While much of Brazil’s output is commercial grade, select regions such as Alta Mogiana are known for producing reliable, high-quality specialty Arabica coffees with exceptional balance and clarity.
This coffee originates from the Alta Mogiana region, located along the São Paulo–Minas Gerais border. The region’s moderate elevations, fertile soils, and stable climate allow coffees to develop a naturally sweet, clean, and well-rounded profile.
This lot is naturally processed, meaning the coffee cherries are dried whole with the fruit still intact. Dry processing allows sugars from the mucilage to remain in contact with the bean during drying, resulting in a coffee with enhanced body, sweetness, and soft fruit notes, while maintaining a smooth, approachable character.
This coffee is classified as SFC (Super Fine Cup), a Brazilian quality designation indicating a clean cup free of rioy or harsh defects, and meeting specialty-grade standards.
Freshly packed and shipped with care.
